FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

01

Does Terranova Chem sell chemicals?

No. We do not sell, supply, ship, or sample physical chemical substances under any circumstance. We do carry out production at our own facilities, but only for internal reasons: training staff, researching new production methods, and routine repeat of certain processes for internal analysis. Our commercial business is the development, documentation, protection, and licensing of chemical intellectual property.

02

Can suppliers contact you?

Yes. Raw material suppliers, reagent and equipment vendors, and analytical service providers are welcome to get in touch, since our research and internal production programmes require them. Buyers of finished chemical products cannot be served.

03

What exactly is being licensed?

The right to practise a protected invention — a composition of matter, a synthetic process, or an industrial use — together with the technical dossier that makes the route reproducible at manufacturing scale.

04

Who can request a technical dossier?

Registered corporate and institutional entities only, after registry verification, identification of a responsible technical officer, a signed confidentiality agreement, and an export-control assessment.

05

Can we commission research on a specific target?

Co-development programmes are available where Terranova Chem contributes route design and validation and the partner contributes scale-up capability. IP allocation is agreed at signature, before work begins.

06

Where can patent filings be verified?

Granted and published families appear in the relevant national and regional patent registers. Any register we publish on this site will reference those public records.

07

Do you publish in the scientific literature?

Selectively, and only after filing. Publication decisions are made jointly by the research and IP functions so that disclosure never compromises claim scope.

08

How are enquiries about purchasing substances handled?

They are logged and closed without substantive response. Nothing we produce is held for sale or supply, and we cannot direct enquirers to suppliers.
